Yes! That would be her! I haven't gotten my magazine yet (maybe it's at home waiting for me!), but I was contacted a few weeks ago and told her picture would be in the smiling dogs section.
We're guessing around 5. When we adopted her in May 2008, they told us she was probably about 2 to 2 1/2, but since she was a stray they weren't 100% sure of her age. They only knew she was an adult and fairly young!
From your description of Molly, they sound very much alike in temperament as well as looks! We think Dahlia is BC mixed either with Flat coat or even Golden retriever. She's almost all BC in personality but just a bit mellower than most BCs I know!
*squee* I just love head tilties! So so so so adorable!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Head tilts are so hilariously cute.
ReplyDeleteHead tilts are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI just got the Feb/March issue of Bark mag... I believe I spied your "Dahlia" on Smiling Dogs on the bottom right corner of page 24!!
Wanted to add to my previous post that the photo caught my eye because my Molly and your Dahlia look a lot alike!

ReplyDeleteSo Dahlia's about 5? She's a young 'un! Molly will be 12 years old on the 16th! She's a fellow spotted tongue dog too!

And happy (early) birthday to Molly!
